My girl locked me out for leaving drunk to get more vodka and called the law on me. When the officer cuffed me, I asked him not to bother because I will just get out of them anyway. He said "No you cant, show me." So I slipped the cuffs by working a small piece of metal I keep in my watch band in the back of the cuff. As soon as they were off his partner jumped me and it was on. I ended up fighting four cops trying to plead my case because I was drunk and dumb. Got my head stomped pretty good, and I sorta remember getting my ass kicked again while cuffed and shackled before they took me to the hospital. My lawyer got all charges except the OUI dismissed.

While I was a heroin addict I drove a 2014 car, and I own my house outright. It's not like the movies yaknow. The only problem with clean, properly-dosed (i.e legal) heroin, is that it's SO swiftly addictive. Booze is more addictive in that it'll fucking kill you if you stop it cold turkey after years of use, but heroin gives you withdrawal symptoms within a week. Since we got married, drinking has been boring. I still love to drink, don't get me wrong, but my wife has apparently outgrown it.

If it were up to me, I'd drink every single night and probably get blackout drunk every night too. I don't get hangovers, so I'm always good to go the next morning. My wife really doesn't get hangovers either, but still is reluctant to drink on a weekday. When she does drink, she'll usually only have one beer or maybe a single cocktail anyway. When she goes to sleep, I'll get up and go get drunk in the kitchen before stumbling back to bed a few hours later. I miss my drinking partner. When we were young, we'd stay up all night getting drunk and going crazy. I have so many good memories of nights spent getting wasted and smoking on balconies, having weird sex, making prank calls, destroying the kitchen, the list goes on.

Now she'll have a glass of wine and fall asleep right away, begging me to sleep with her.
