Generally, I don't like food centric youtube channels that have a host since they're more often than not interested in smelling their own farts instead of focusing on the food and the prepping/cooking process. Hosts that show their face more than the ingredients/dish and have exaggerated reactions to what they're eating are pure cancer, imo.

It started as a good novelty channel, but then he showed his face and has only been doing that more and more. Now it's him going off on little adventures and actually trying to make the food from the show doesn't matter anymore. He wasn't that good of a cook to begin with and his personality is very generic and bland so his gimmick was really the only thing he had going for him, but he's basically abandoned it.

I have watched them all so far, and while the exotic meat burrito one was disgusting, his developing himself into more of an on camera presence doesn't really bother me too much.

For him its a smart move. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with a tv show or gets picked up by an internet streaming service eventually if his popularity doesn't wane too much.

He has a really stiff way of cooking. Too many measurements, gadgets and pointless preparations.
You can tell in some videos that he's not very confident in his cooking and the final products are decent but nothing to die for.
