How does /ck/ feel about gin and tonic?

Also what is your favorite drink mixture? Doesn't have to be alcoholic.

I like having a sprite with a dash of mint syrup and a squeeze of lemon/lime juice in it.

If I'm feeling adventurous, I usually go for a splash of vodka or whiskey

what about you, op?

I dont usually like cocktails, i pretty much just get smashed on irish/scotch/bourbon with a side glass of soda water or in some cases coke
But Cuba Libre is an exception. Its so simple and yet so good.Could drink this every day and ill be happy for the rest of my life.

And maybe mojito now and then during the summer, but i get "over it" pretty fast.I randomly get cravings for it when its hot, but after a glass im starting to feel meh about it

>gin and tonic
disgusting
Homemade alchohol from homemade fruits + homemade juice from homegrown fruits + homemade salad from homemade vegetables is the best

That actually sounds really fucking good. I'm 21 and a bit newer to mixing drinks but so far I've been pretty head over heels for anything dry or savory, like bloody mary or again, gin and tonic. Cheers.

Also why is it disgusting to you? Just curious

Probably from one of those countries where a bottle of bottom shelf costs the equivalent of $50, retail selection resembles American flyover stores circa 1955, and everyone just makes booze at home. Finland, maybe

Pic unrelated right? That's a shitty gin punch juice.

I'm a pleb that just buys premixed shit like 1800 margaritas. What are some beginner friendly cocktails, especially any fruity ones? I'm a palate-let that can't really handle strong alcohol tastes.

G&T is my favorite alcoholic drink. Also love old fashioneds, martinis, and boulevardiers.

For non-alcoholic I like homemade arnold palmers.

It’s my favorite summer drink.

>> No.10011694

best drink.
>nice and refreshing
>easy to get pissed on
>doesn't leave me bloated like beer
>doesn't give me bad hangovers
>even the cheap stuff is okay

Next time you have a G&T add a couple of splashes of bitters. Trust me, its great.

That's a gorgeous G&T OP, although I like a Tom Collins a bit better. Pimms Cups are my current favorite.

i like gin but /pol/ told me it's for cucks. I don't want to be a cuck but giving up gin because /pol/ said so seems a bit much. What should I do?

>> No.10014268

Try gin and cherry coke. I'm telling you, it's great.

>> No.10014628

Love a G&T but I can only have them at home. Order one at a bar and it's always 70% ice, 20% super sweet fountain tonic water, and 10% rotgut gin.

>>10009782

G&T is hit or miss for me. First I had was amazing, made one about a week and a half later and wasn't big on it.
I think I just don't know what ratio I like.

As for non alcoholic, anywhere with a fountain I do 3/4 coke, 1/4 iced tea, and a splash of frutopia.
