yes and no. they are mostly unrelated activities, but they often have the same outcome: death of one's self or innocent bystanders.
you may believe they are completely unrelated, but ultimately they do have very similar consequences, and should be advertised as such.

tobacco and driving impaired both cause death. tobacco causes very widespreadt death, and therefor the media presents negative advertising regarding tobacco. since impaired driving also causes death, the media should create more awareness through negative advertising regarding impaired driving
