No, it goes like this;

Get beer and drink throughout the process below
Gather up a lot of firewood
Get a campfire going before noon
Let it burn for an hour or so to preheat the dirt underneath
Wrap a turkey in aluminum foil, followed by wet newsprint paper
Repeat the above, alternating foil and wet paper until roughly 3"-4" thick
Use a shovel to move coals and burning chunks of wood to the side
Dig a hole in the fire pit, setting the dirt aside
Put the wrapped turkey in the hole
Shovel the dirt back into the hole and on top of the turkey
Shovel the coals/burning chunks of wood back on top of the dirt
Build the fire back up
Keep the fire going all day
Around sunset, (8:00pm or so) dig up the turkey
While wearing leather gloves, remove the layers of aluminum foil and (now mostly dry) newsprint paper
Eat the moistest bestest turkey ever, using your fingers like drunken cavemen
