High quality food ex. Meats/seafood/dairy/cheeses are inherently expensive because they are healthy and good for you.

While...

Low quality foods like rice, pastas, bread etc are inherently cheap because they are terrible for you and barely have the capability to poorly sustain a person.

So if you care about your health, in general, purchase more expensive foods like high quality meats and seafood and avoid unhealthy foods like what I listed as much as possible.
