Is it possible to have a good diet that uses a lot of fish? I really enjoy eating fish. Moreso than chicken or beef. Not saying I don't like beef or poultry though. Beef to me is a pain to cook properly. Poultry is easier but I don't enjoy it as much as fish.

Although, a friend of mine who is apparently vegan? Said that eating a lot of fish can give you mercury sickness. I however thought it was only eating a lot of tuna can do that to you but he is adamant that its any sea caught fish. Thoughts?

Also, in terms of nutrition, what benefits does fish provide if you are trying to get in shape? He is under the impression that you don't need fish at all for the most part. Again, I am not a professional dietitian.

Side question: Could you guys post what your typical meals for the day look like? I am trying to get in shape and I have the gym routines down right but my diet needs work for sure. Lately I have been eating salmon with lentils and beans for about a month now. I like lentils a lot. Of courses vegatables like spinach are in there too. I tried cutting the dairy down a bit but I love milk too.
