Very small place, popular locally. Popular to the point that when locals who aren't from Island hear the word 'Island', they just assume people are talking about the restaurant. If you're from Island, the restaurant is 'The Dairy Freeze'. If you're from any surrounding town or county, it's just 'Island' and the actual town of Island is just decoration.

This is the Island Burger, basically. Dressed cheeseburger. Lettuce, pickles, onions, and mayo. Also they have a popular pizza burger, and the combination of pickles, onion, and mustard is also popular.

Very wide, flat patties. They're patted out thin but are still juicy. Crispy outside, tender inside. Tasted more like a mix rather than straight meat, which is a popular crowd-pleaser around here.

I enjoyed it. Small-town, charming simplicity. Ate outside on a bunch of blue wooden benches, each one covered in knife-carved graffiti.
