its a lazy way to make edibles.
you get really oily peanut butter (not the fake plastic Kraft shit, the good kind with a layer of oil on top) and sprinkle finely ground weed in.
wrap in foil and bake.
the oil in the peanut butter gives the active ingredients in the weed something to bind to when you apply heat, making edibles without having to go through the bullshit of toasting the weed first then doing a double boil with butter for etc which can take a few hours.

tastes like ass though, like licking peanut butter flavored dirt on crackers.

It's all a trade off. Higher temps get you different things. They also make it riskier.

Nevertheless, the whole point of decarbing is so that you don't have to run it in butter for hours and hours.

anyone made Firecrackers before?
(ie: 2 crackers with oily peanut butter and weed between the two, wrap in foil and put in the oven)

I made some last night, put in the oven at 150'c for 30min, following this chart.
Every recipe i see online varies wildly on the process, time and temperature.
Most say around 165c or higher, some recipes recommend decarboxylizing first.
I got decently high from the Firecrackers last night but just hoping to improve potency. Thinking of decarbox-ing next time.

follow this chart. make sure you get temperature and time exact. dont grind too finely but you dont want your weed to be coarse lumps either.
once it's decarbox'd, double-boil in butter (actual, non-salted butter. not margarine) for a long time. i'd say minimum 20min but the longer you go the more extraction you get but personally I wouldn't go longer than 40-45min.
pour the butter into a container and allow it to set.
overall how good it is will depend mostly on your own tolerance.

how much are you taking though?
dispensaries and guides online will SAY that 10 or 20mg is the standard dose, but honestly you wont feel shit until you're in the 50 or 100mg territory.
if you want to feel properly baked on edibles you gotta take 150~250mg worth.

i thought the same thing for months when I was trying store-bought edibles. The guy at the store recommending me 20mg ones, or I'd make my own cannabutter and it wouldn't be that potent. they have like a gummy that's 80mg but breaks off into 10mg segments or whatever.
I think the reasoning is legal protection from say, if some retard teenager or kid eats like a whole bag at once, you dont want the tiny candies to be 100mg each.
