Thailand’s my #1, each dish has a unique zing and flavor. I’m not just talking about pad thai and curry—you’re really missing out if you’ve never been to Bangkok or Chiangmai.

I’m obviously biased though since I’m half-Thai. Pic is from my most recent visit—there’s grilled beef shank, stewed chicken, a herbal soup with bamboo shoots and wild mountain greens, and someone randomly brought their iced coffee into the picture without me realizing it until just now. Not shown are the baskets of steaming hot glutinous rice, the preference of the northern regions.
