Yes I am. Grew up eating'em. They're delicious. My grandmother used to make them all the time, especially during the greater lent.
I always assumed beanburgers/veggie burgers are just falafel with other things in them in burger form, so that's how I make them: like falafel.

My grandmother's falafel is made from cooked-then-cooled broad beans/fava beans (or fresh, raw, green broad beans), parsley, garlic, toasted cumin seed powder and chickpea flour.
She hated garlic, so she'd make a few without just for her.
