This is the American equivalent of the Australian meat pie. You can try to debate me but you are wrong. It's a flaky crust filled with meat slop.

I don't know how these haven't caught on in America. We want bread and meat goop filling. We love Hot Pockets.

The closest thing I can think of are fried burritos/chimichangas, the frozen varieties of which bear very little resemblance to actual burritos. The flour tortilla does end up with a flaky texture once fried.
