I know because I also work at a Whole Foods

I once opened a can of pineapple rings, ate a few slices, then placed it in the fridge after a few hours. When I had some more the next day, the juice had fermented a bit. It wasn't sour or rotten tasting, just delightfully fizzy, tickling my tongue as I ate. Didn't get sick, didn't catch a buzz, just enjoyed my pineapple a bit extra.

At what point should I consider myself a decent cook? I'm a 30 yr old single male and I want to impress girls that I know how to cook once I start dating again soon.

I know how to make the following foods but I think everyone else knows more about cooking than I do for some reason.

>spaghetti (with really good sauce recipe)
>chicken fajitas
>beef fajitas
>chocolate cake (no mix)
>lemon cake (no mix)
>good burgers
>good pizza
>pan fried potatoes
>2 types of salsa
>guacamole
>crispy baked tortilla chips
>ranch style beans and refried beans

I'm still practicing some other recipes from videos but I'm not confident to say I know how to make them yet.
