Way too solid, looks like they would be the texture of a slim Jim.

You guys all need to improve. Use WAY more rub, make your own with lots of brown sugar. Nobody itt has posted anything with a decent bark/crust. I don't have any pics of pork ribs on this phone but my bark is always just as good as on these beef short ribs I smoked last week. Anybody who says pork ribs shouldn't have a good bark doesn't know what the fuck they're doing.
