She's always been this way. In some ways she's calmed down since she was younger.

I wasn't there, so the version of events she told me is probably somewhat colored to make her look better. We went to eat and the manager or owner popped up immediately comping portions of our meal and taking a picture of us to put on the walls as happy customers. So I asked her what the hell it was about and why in God's name they'd want our picture on the wall. This is her version:
>She's eating at a restaurant with a friend and her friend's daughter.
>Starts screaming at the waitress for some reason. She didn't state this, but whatever she said was loud enough that people from another table got upset and came to hers.
>A woman from another table comes to her table with her party and tells my mother she's being incredibly rude, loud and hateful to the waitress.
>Waitress quietly steps back as the two begin screaming at eachother.
>My mother claims at this point her friend decked the lady.
>The three of them get up and flee the restaurant.
>Her friend and her daughter are able to quickly flee in their car, but my mother takes forever to leave and always parks up front on the handicapped spot so they're quick to find her as she tries to pull out.
>Half the restaurant has poured out and is surrounding her car so she can't leave while the cops are called.
>She calls the cops herself claiming being surrounded is giving her claustrophobia and a panic attack.
I'm presuming the cops let her off the hook and she cried or something. Her and her friend are both in their early 70's, additionally.

I can't remember their name, but I had these when I was a kid in Canada. They were like hazelnut or butterscotch, filled with some sort of creme or nougat, and they were fucking heinous. To this day, I feel slightly nauseous any time I remember eating it.
