>Wouldn’t recommend cooking with it, it’s a table side condiment.

This is simply not true; it's been advertised as a seasoning ingredient ever since they began advertising it and for decades they gave away and published recipes in ads that used it and would send you a tiny bottle with just enough Tabasco sauce to try cooking those recipes with it.
A lot of those recipes and use suggestions literally call for two or three *drops* of it in things like gravy and salad dressings...foods that nobody adds condiments to at the table, that are ingredients in other dishes themselves. It has always been promoted as a highly concentrated all purpose liquid seasoning and just happens to be a tart and spicy one that *can* also work as a condiment- but anything more than a few drops of it directly on prepared food is overkill...its like dark soy sauce or Maggi seasoning or liquid smoke.
