The new chicken sandwiches coming from the "chicken sandwich wars" are fucking terrible.

This was my favorite fast food chicken sandwich of all time. I averaged eating like 5 of these a week. I was DEVASTATED when Mcdonald's discontinued it. Nothing ever came close to the deliciousness that was this sandwich.

The good era of McDonald's ended for me when they got rid of this delicious chicken sandwich. COVID-19 was the real nail in the coffin for me, though. I dunno what they changed in 2020, but their buns seem to be way more stale tasting now, and I hate that they use shredded lettuce for every burger.

Only thing that seems unchanged are their chicken nuggets, and I only order those when I am drunk enough to shamelessly devour a 20 piece.

McDonalds already had the best chicken sandwich but they got rid of it and replaced it with a much shitter version. Then they made that version a shittier version. Then they cam out with an even shittier chick-fil-a ripoff. Just bring this sandwich back.

I wish they would just bring back the best chicken sandwich they ever had. I legit ate this shit every day.

I miss it so much, bros. You may think it is the same as the current one, but no it isn't. The bread was way better, and the chicken patty was much larger. The bread is what really made the sandwich, though. The current bullshit sweaty bun makes the sandwich ultra mediocre.

This sandwich was peak McDonalds. I was so mad when they replaced it with the trash chicken sandwich we have today. It doesn't even compare. The bread was way better and the chicken breast was a nice thick breast instead of the flattened dry bullshit they serve today.

That old chicken sandwich had me going to McDonalds nearly every day.

You just reminded me of the old crispy chicken sandwich at McDonalds. It was a causality of that weird time period where McDonalds didn't know what to do with themselves and started experimenting with being a coffee shop, serving healthier foods, or premium foods.

Their old crispy chicken silently morphed overnight to the new shitty crispy chicken sandwich they serve today. The bun on the new sandwich is sweaty as all fuck while still being ultra dry, and same goes for the chicken. Tne new chicken breast is pounded out to minimize the meat, which gets the travesty of a chicken breast that they serve today. The new breast is so thin that the tomato always overpowers the taste, and the breast is almost always dry and overcooked.

Now the old chicken sandwich... that shit was D E L I C I O U S. It was the one thing on their menu that kept me coming back to McDonalds almost every day. The bun was nice, fluffy, flavorful and had the perfect texture.. The chicken breast was like the perfect thickness. Not too thick, but not too thin and almost always cooked to perfection. I loved the crap out of this sandwich. The existence of this sandwich is what made me scoff at people who said "McDonalds is shit." Like bitch, please we all know you are lying just to be cool.

Now.... now McDonalds is objectively shit because they made all of their items healthier (a.k.a. tasteless). I legit have no desire to go to McDonalds anymore.

This sandwich silently transformed into the bland as all fuck crispy chicken that McDonald's serves today what that sweaty ass bun. The old bun tasted great and the chicken breast was nice, big, chunky, and juicy. Now they pound the chicken breast out so you get a dried out tiny sliver that tastes like sadness.
