Ever since they got rid of pic related, none is best. They're all equally good, but this was the crème de la crème.

Homemade: apple. Why doesn't any company make apple ice cream? It's delicious! Making it from scratch isn't too much of a hassle, I guess... I'd really prefer to buy it.

I prefer B&J's ice cream, but I rather dislike all the chunks and stuff in it; as such, I prefer Häagen-Dazs, even if the ice cream itself isn't as delicious as B&J's ice cream.
Also, true to my roots, I have an affinity for ice creams flavoured by/with nuts, such as pic related, which is my favourite H-D flavour. I'm sure if B&J's made it, it would blow H-D out of the water but, alas! they do not.

I rather dislike the chunks. B&J, to my tastes, is the absolute best nationally available ice cream. Paradoxically (or maybe not so paradoxically), B&J is also the absolute worst frozen nationally available frozen dessert. No matter the flavour, the chunks of stuff in it totally ruin it for me. If B&J offered all of their delicious ice creams sans chunks, I'd be all over it. Like I said before: keep the monkey, ditch the chunky.
Until that one, glorious day of chunk-free B&J makes itself known to me, I'll have to go with the distant second best as far as nationally available ice creams go: Häagen-Dazs.
