welp, I only saw Batch 3 there just a little while ago and they didnt really restock much maybe I just missed it, but picked this today thinking it was batch 3. My heart sank a little when was reading the box and it stated something about "Caribbean Spices", but looking up tbe differences in batches put me to ease as Batch 2 is 1st fill ex bourbon, virgin oak, PX and Olorosso Puncheon.

Initial nose on the neck pour reminded me alot of cheap spiced rum. lots of ripe banana, yeast and nuts/spices. with a couple drops of water I got a feint dark cboclate note.... and thats about it. For being Cask Strength its really kinda subtle on both nose and palate.

went in without eating anything and only having water for the day. The mouth feel is no more "hot" than 100 proof bourbon. I was expecting the back of my head to fly off, but this is kinda just above average. Letting it sit for a bit it has started to make me think its on par with Glendronach 12 with the Glendro being ahead. I'll report back if it changes drastically.
