Does anyone even know what Red Lobster has had worth going for in the past decade? I'm seriously drawing a blank, the last time I went I think I was like 12 and my parents only went because of some church thing.

I had to live off entirely white rice and dried beans for about 6 months, and I can no longer stand eating them, let alone using them as my primary source of protein again. Seitan is too expensive; even if I make it myself it's 2.5 times the price by weight of my current primary protein; chicken breast. Tofu was quite unpleasant. Nuts aren't a terrible option, but they also have triple the calorie density.

Some day if I have a better income I might give it an earnest shot, but unless the lifestyle is subsidized or otherwise accommodated, it's just not going to happen for the foreseeable future.
