Meal prepping shows capability to plan ahead, economize time, and ability to cook nutritious tasty meals which keep for a good while and taste great once re-heated (or not at all if they don't need to be heated).

The only brain-dead simpletons are those who look down on 'meal prepping' as the habit of people who lack culinary skills or money as they supposedly 'eat fresh' every day or buy prepackaged lunches/dinners out.
