>I have seen the things you yoopers call a "traditional Cornish pasty".

Where do you think we got them? Cornish miners who immigrated to the UP to mine copper.

This place; >>7063218 >>7063265 offers gravy for their pasties, but it comes in a separate little cup.

I like to nuke the pastie (if I don't get it fresh and hot) for 2:00mins, then cut/chop it up and pour the gravy all over it, then nuke it for another min.

Michigan's Upper Peninsula has a tradition of making pasties, derived from the Cornish miners
who immigrated there back in the day to work the copper mines.

I regularly get pasties (beef, turkey and spinach) during the colder months from The Donut Shop
on Mound Rd. south of 12 Mile Rd. which are pretty good.
