I've always wondered what I'd do if that happened to me in a bar (and I wouldn't see what's being poured out), paying for a high quality whisky I haven't tried before. I feel pretty confident in discerning high quality from low quality whisky, but to actually bring up the balls of accusing the barkeeper of fraud and wanting your money back, you have to be VERY sure. And everyone who once ate something sweet right after washing their teeth, knows that our tastebuds can sometimes play tricks on us.
