Here's a protip. I used to work at Walmart. The store I worked in was just like that, a bunch of people dead inside just waiting to clock out and go about their miserable lives.

Than I transferred to a ghetto walmart on the outskirts of Chicago.

It was the best job I ever had, I've had jobs making nearly triple of what I made there and I'd still go back to that Walmart.

Management did not give a fuck, most were just there until they found something better, they were cool and didn't give a fuck. Even let me slide for no call no shows, imagine showing up to a job when you felt like and nothing happening, great shit(just didn't push it, I'm sure I would've been fired eventually).

Managers would let me get as many hours as I wanted, if I want 40 hours, I'd get 40 hours(the way the system worked was I believe you didn't count as full time if you didn't work 40 hours for x number of weeks, so they'd schedule me for like 32 hours one week and dodge that shit)

Most of my co-workers didn't really give a damn either. Many a night were spent fucking around in IMS printing out custom tags for products with custom prices, I never had the balls to try it but I think my friend did after I left.

Also many of the employees would blatantly steal booze, some wouldn't even work and claim it was racism whenever they were dragged into the managers office.

Job was the tits, shame I ended up moving.
