salsa just means sauce in spanish, so mexican hotsauces will be labled 'salsa picante' or whatever

if you can find this one, try it. it's more flavorful than you might want to put on some things, but it's great on fried chicken, pork, potatoes, pasta salad, tuna, sandwiches etc, and it a great additive to other sauces and marinades. think of it like ketchup or steak sauce
