But no. Like many posters mom's cooking fucking sucked. God rest her soul. Her worst crime was spaghetti? How do you fuck up spaghetti?! Let me tell you. You do not drain the noodles and you just leave them in the water. Then everybody can walk up to the pot and scoop out spaghetti with tongs. This absolutely guarantees that the Ragu sauce you spoon on later immediately disintegrates. You have pink dyed noodles. Now your only way to make this taste like anything is to shake copious grated cheese product on it to try and mop up the water.

The second time I was just showing off and what amounted to an 'evening of pure Hell' happened.

An hour after I ate the damned thing I get a frantic, semi coherent text from a relative. Another relative, who was a hoarder had entered into the final stage of hoarding: Just giving up, falling onto the floor, refusing to get up and refusing medical attention as the bugs start on them.
