I just accepted a job as a bartender, on the basis I have 5 years bartending experience, but I really only have about 2 months worth of experience. What are some things I should keep in mind in order to blag my way through this? It's also in a new country with slightly different measurements of jiggers and shit. I'm only using it as a temporary measure to get into the country (Ireland) and start job seeking for an actual career (It's in a hotel so I have job and accommodation together so that's cool).

my gf and i started living together about a month ago and we take turns cooking weekly. The past two weeks I have noticed that she is always late to dinner when i have to cook and she always says something about how her boss is making her do extra work or some other bullshit but I feel like my cooking is just bad

not really a restaurant experience but:
