By pretty much any measure humanity is better off now n the age of capitalism than ever before. People are living longer and better lives, absolute poverty is at an all time low, fewer people fight and die in wars than ever before. The diseases that killed our ancestors are mostly gone or treatable.
Even when it just comes to food an drink, we have much better access to an incredibly wide variety of much better things than any previous generation
