I'd like to posit a subthread:
any chiliheads here, what was the first sauce that made you realize "yo what the fuck there is more to life than texas pete"

For me I somehow ended up with a bottle of a sauce called "ghost train" which was obviously ghost pepper based. It ruined my world. I couldn't understand how it could be really tasty and nice while also fucking me up. Since then I've been a sauce guy
