A session will use 30-50g of yerba (200-500mg caffeine). 30g if using infuser basket or french press, 50g if traditional or gongfu (multiple infusions).
A cured gourd adds flavor and I haven't tried it. Stainless steel, ceramic, glass is fine.
Yerba is cheaper than coffee at the moment but that may not be true in the future.
I think yerba ages in the factory packaging (Rosamonte Special is compacted and 24 months aged). With aged yerba, use less water temperature.
