I feel the same.
I go to friends' houses, and their fridges are always 70% empty, with maybe three-four long lasting things in them and maybe a beverage.

How the fuck do you cook?
Unless you grocery shop every single day there's no way you can feed yourself with an empty fridge, and even then your fridge should be full of those things that you can't buy in single-meal sizes. (Salads, most veggies, packs of meat, etc.)

When they visit me I get comments like "Wow anon your fridge is so full you must eat a lot ahah", but I'm just mystified as to how they even live.
