Sounds like you're making an Old One salad.

I usually mix mustard, balsalmic, and olive oil for a dressing. The salad varies greatly depending on what I have. Tinned fish is very common, as are eggs. Sometimes it's vegetarian or shrimp. I tend to stick to romaine with crunchy vegetables because I'm a slow eater and I don't want the marinade to make the salad soggy.

Also any faggot who claims fish and cheese can never mix is just a lazy cook who's parroting shit he's heard.
