I get mine from a local Japanese restaurant which also happens to have an attached Japanese grocery store (pic related).
But people without a legit Japanese grocer or fish market in their area are probably out of luck; as it means their local sushi joints are getting theirs through a wholesaler who likely doesn’t deal in small orders to the public.
