in practice you will have to make some adjustments. you don't always have the exact same cookware and ingredients as the recipe says and a lot of things need to be gauged by eye and smell. for example, how do you know your risotto is done? it is not a specific amount of minutes at a specific stove setting, it's a feel. also, being able to whip up something good on the spot with random ingredients / leftovers is more important than being able to follow a recipe step by step

so how does that work, walk in a pharmacy and ask the clerk "can you take a blood sample and tell me what multivitamin I need?". because I am nearly certain if I go to a random GP they will ask me if I have symptoms, and bar anything extreme they will not prescribe anything.

>Some people will literally have to eat like a single apple in order to lose weight
that's what they say they eat, but studies have shown time and time again that obese people are just bad at tracking their calories.
>Exercise boosts your metabolism
total meme. exercise burns calories but there is no such thing as a "fast metabolism", pragmatically speaking. if anything, as you get more proficient at a given exercise (e.g. running) you burn less calories for the same distance as it gets easier and you get more efficient at it.

exercise is important and nearly everyone should do more of it, but your arguments are facebook-mom tier.
