bro, this anon >>11911541 is 100% correct. the best easy bread you can make is no-knead. you'll need flour, yeast salt and water, a bowl, and a dutch oven. pic related, my first no-knead bread with 0 experience.

you don't need a $80 dutch oven either, I got a $20 dutch oven on sale at HEB and it has made a dozen loaves just like this

I used to hear this a lot also, but lately it seems that everyone agrees the yeast mostly comes from the flour you are using for the starter.
