Have you considered the fact that by moving 5000miles, they have access to different ingredients, and replicating the food as you made in the "old country" becomes impossible.

Pappy got popular because Anthony Bourdain wrote a rave review about it, it was already expensive small batch but his endorsement basically made it the gold standard of bourbon and unobtainable, E.H. Taylor , Elmer T. Lee and George Stagg got swept up in the hype as the sort of runners up and never really came back down. More recently, Blanton's got featured in a bunch of movies/shows like House of Cards, John Wick, Longmire, Last Man Standing, and Justified and between that and their collector's bottle turned it into a complete meme bourbon and caused a second wave of shortages of Eagle Rare, Wellers, and Buffalo Trace as 'the next best thing'. I've been stocking up on Buffalo Trace because while they're not going to price it above $30 since it's their only affordable bourbon and the face of their distillery, I wouldn't be surprised if they started watering it down just to meet demand. Luckily Four Roses Small Batch hasn't been swept up in the craze, but that's probably because small batch products from big name, mid shelf distilleries lack the prestige that whiskey collectors jerk themselves off over.

I had had a rough, irratic schedule of opening and closing nights for the last four or five days back and forth, although I think it was me finally looking at all the dishes in the middle of a lunch rush and just shutting down.

I don't know if it was like I wanted it to be, but I think I realized I was doing it when I realized I wasn't turning around and going back to the restaurant.

You're a fucking idiot and have killed what could have been a great thread about cheese.
Your mother's a whore who should have swallowed instead, and may all your trailer trash children be successful at being huge disappointments.
