How do you typically do beef burger? I start with a tiny bit of butter, them plop the patty which I like to be fairly thick. Season with salt and black pepper on both sides, cook for about five minutes on one side, then flip it, cover with cheese (usually swiss or colby jack) and let it cook for about four minutes. I then place it on a paper towel lined dish off to the side where I allow it to drain a bit, while this is happening I have turned the heat up and placed my bun in the pan to get a little toasty. Finally, I give a thin layering of mayo on the bottom bun, place the burger on it, top with freshly cut white onion, jalapeno peppers, and BBQ sauce before pressing on the top bun

I eat this, and I enjoy it with a glass of purified water and a double shot of Coke-a-Cola, and maybe a few chips of my choice on the side.

>doesn't flatten beef patty as thin as possibly before cooking so it plumps appropriately
>as it cooks burger turns into a ball
>constantly smash burger with spatula in pan as it cooks
>completely overcook burger
>dry ass overcooked completely grey juiceless burger

This triggers me the most, and it seems far too many people actually cook burgers this way....you don't, do you?
