Take Eastern Europe for an example, for the last 2 centuries they have been buttfucked with revolutions, wars and communist shit that all resulted in pretty massive famines. You could compare it to the great depression where a lot of cheap budget meals took over, but instead of lasting like 10 years it lasted an entire fucking century, essentially wiping out whatever good cuisine they had.
