How do you make peppers less hot?
I bought a Carolina Reaper plant and I'm hoping to grow some peppers this year. I do like spicy food but I don't think I'll be able to handle these. Is there a way to process them that removes a lot of the capsaicin? They don't have to be totally mild, but maybe bring them down to a level that is edible for a normal person? I've read some stuff about soaking them in booze for a while, anyone ever try that?

If Bhut Jolokia and Carolina Reaper are blended, they may be the same product.

>Be me
>Peppers in local stores aren't very spicy
>Order Carolina Reaper to make my own hotsauce
>The capsaicin starts smoking into the air when blended with vinegar and other peppers
>The smoke/fumes blind me, immediately touch my eye, eye is full of crushed Reaper oil
>Right side of my face begins to swell
>I am now blinded for an hour.
>Pour the remaining mixture into a glass
>It begins to literally heat up and fog the class, making it somewhat hot to the touch
Wtf? I thought it was an imaginary heat, but it literally made the jar fog up and get warm/hot. I also mixed it with like 10-20 other peppers and it literally got hot just from pepper, garlic, vinegar combo.

What the fuck should I do with the 8 Carolina reaper chilies I have in my fridge? I ate a sliver of one and unironically craved death for 15 minutes after. Rubbed some on a burger and it was still too fucking much for me.

Hello fellow cooking experts

I will be maintaining a garden full of these delicious, unholy hellfire CR's in my back yard this summer.

What should I expect to have bushels of these peppers sold in my local markets?

I will also do hot pepper contests soon and hope my peppers grow to great sizes and powerful SHU''s of 1.5 to 2.2 million SHU

Do any of you /ck/s like growing peppers to spice up your life?

I've recently acquired some Carolina Reapers from a friend that grew them. What can I do with them?
