Your assertion that only an "abject retard" would fail to believe in God, while basic observation tells you the opposite is true.
I never even went into which group is larger, or which belief is more popular.
It just seems like the simple-minded are more likely to have faith.
Why that's the case is left as an exercise for the reader.

In the Old Testament God wants you to kill anyone you see working in any way on the Sabbath, so I guess they're moderates.
Also, the Sabbath actually begins sundown Friday, and ends sundown Saturday, so I guess they're really Godless sinners, go figure.

>So is the part where Jesus says that the old commandments are redundant
Where is that?
Let's check Matthew 5:17-20:
>Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
>For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
>Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
>For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

So Jesus makes it pretty clear all the old laws, etc stand.
You're still not allowed to eat shellfish, cross-dress, or suffer a witch to live.
Slavery of non-Hebrews is fine.
Women who don't don't bleed from their hymens on their wedding night are to be stoned to death at their father's door.
Plus, without the old testament there's no original sin, and thus no need for Jesus to die on the cross.
Plus, Christfags just love the Ten Commandments.
