Anyone else lived in a resort/ski town for a season? Usually great roommate stories there.

>doing a season in a ski town
>job has to evict us from staff accom
>only place we (me and like 3 coworkers) could get was 90min away by bus, changing busses twice
>nearest store is a 1h return trip
>landlady wants 10 people to share the 3 bedrooms
>rent is $850/month each plus utilities
>we had no choice but to take it cuz it's a ski town
>one of my roommates (in our room) is a light sleeper
>like he'll wake if you drop a hairpin in the other room
>he didnt tell us this until we'd moved in
>other 3 people in our room (me included) snore really loudly
>dude doesn't get any sleep, so starts sleeping in his car at work instead
>other room is 2 nice (white) guys from Zimbabwe
>they're bros, cook really well, clean up well
>last room is 4 party-hard dudebro chad 19year olds
>they go clubbing 6 nights a week, do endless cocaine and ketamine, drink constantly and wonder why they're still broke when they work 2 jobs
>none of the 4 guys from that room clean anything
>dishes always piled up
>garbage never properly bagged up
>garbage cant be put outside because of bears, so we have to leave the bags piled up next to the front door and leave the door unlocked for the garbage guy to take
>wet clothes sitting in the washing machine for days at a time
>half peeled veges still left on the counter for a few days because they "forgot"
>no-one has a 9-5 in a ski town, everyone's on shift work so every night of the week SOMEONE is getting fucked up
>loud music nearly all the time
>usually 2-4 strangers sleeping on our couches most nights a week
>house parties in our living room at least twice a week
>10 people wanting to use the kitchen or bathroom at the same time, all the time
>dudes taking 45min showers when 9 other people need to take a shit (for some reason the toilet is in the bathroom in North America, so if someone's in the shower you cant take a shit)
It was crazy but a lot of fun.
