Hey /ck/. Is a japanese rice cooker with this 'fuzzy' bullshit worth it over a cheapo cooker at walmart?

What's the main advantages of a 'quality' rice cooker?

Whenever I attempted to make brown rice in cheap rice cookers they tended to boil over no matter how much I washed it. Would one of these help with that? Am I just autistic for nop being able to wash rice?

Thanks

I eat rice three times a day. I start it in the morning, and my rice cooker keeps it warm all day long. It's good for 12 hours.

Don't trust anyone who cooks rice in a pot. They're not living on rice and their opinion is invalid.

Alongside rice (and giant pancakes), what do you guys prep in your rice cookers?
I just did 50% french lentils alongside my 50% basmati and it was perfect. I'd love to explore other opportunities, but don't know where to start.
