I'm mixed race white/black and have hair like pic related. taking care of it is a fucking shit. you can never just say fuck it and go outside without doing something to it (which involves a shower and detangling it with your fingers and conditioner and shampoo) if you've been sleeping or something because it looks ridiculous

detangling it hurts and takes forever. strangers compliment my hair randomly all the time and sometimes have asked to feel it (what the fuck? I know they're just curious but still) but no hair is worth this trouble. I would look ridiculous with short/shaved hair too so I'm fucked.

have hated it ever since I was a kid and since this area is 99% chinese and white all the kids made fun of the hair at elementary school. fucking genetics black shit
