The name "M4 Super Sherman Sandwich" has a bit of reasoning behind it. The M stands for McDonald's. The 4 is because there's 4 patties of beef on this thing. Along with a bunch of other shit. Obviously, it's also a reference to the M4 Sherman tank, and specifically the Super Sherman.
The Super Sherman was an Israeli variant of the Sherman after the jews decided they were too cheap to pay for new tanks and instead just kept cramming shit onto their old surplus Shermans, stuff that was never meant to go on a chassis like that. It's a fitting name because we're basically doing the same thing here, but with a burger.
In this case, our chassis is going to be the Triple Cheeseburger. Note the price, $4.29.
