For my breaks / lunches (which we can take whenever the fuck we feel like taking), I took note early on when the room would be empty for long stretches of time and set my break times to start or end to accommodate this.
Since I enjoy them as my "quiet time," a handful of other co-workers who also did adjusted to join me and we ate in peace or had quiet conversations.
