well in my country (bulgaria) we don't really do dressing, unless it's some foreign salad that requires its own dressing. for "dressing", we have one of these things on every table. it's olive oil/sunflower oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.

typically salads are more made up of veggies instead of greens. like for example, standard salad is tomato + cucumber + onions.

the salad is served unseasoned and you use the condiments to season it to your taste.

as for the warm beer, i'm a poor judge, i can't really drink beer from the fridge, it's too warm for me. i have to drink it after it's spent 15-20 minutes in the freezer. unless it's a dark beer.
