Just got back from my first trip to the South, and these things are EVERYWHERE. Why?

As a yankee, am I missing out on anything special with this? We got plenty of cozy diners up (especially in Jersey) here but there seems to be something reverously mesmerizing about this

Got the 4 for $4 meal with a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger, but I calculated the savings out to $1.50 had I bought the same menu items separately. I could've gone to Burger King and used the app to get 2 Junior Whopper burgers, both with small fries for $4. Had I just drank water, which would've been better for me, I would've gotten a better deal (dip those BK fries in zesty onion ring sauce mimicking Outback Steakhouse's Bloomin' Onion ring sauce) IMHO.

How do YOU nail down the BEST deals in food /ck/?

McDonald's™ has ALWAYS been good. It's the best fast food restaurant in the world and everyone knows it. I can eat 8 Big Mac™ sandwiches in 1 sitting.

No in-n-out, no whataburger, no five-guys, no everything-else. Basically I'm stuck with Mcdonald's, BK, and Wendy's. I think there's a sonic not too far away but am I basically screwed?

Sure, we have REAL cheese steaks and Italian hoagies which make other cities look like shit, but when I want a god damn burger, we don't have it.

I'm drunk and fucking starving so I'm going to drive over to Waffle House since we can all agree it's god-tier food for when you're dickered. What should I get? Both or bar?

I understand there is alot of snobbery across the seas in regards to US Foods and the general American dining scene. Yuros and others are politically incorrect when it comes to their disdain for American success and as such, American dining establishments usually don't get the recognition they deserve.

But that's complete crap. It's time to recognize Waffle House and Chick-Fil-A globally for all they have achieved.

Take Waffle House for example:

>served an incredible meal, quickly and with appropriate technique
>out of there for less than $30.00

Frankly I'm astounded and the level of bullshit Americans have to put up with abroad.
Please respect our restaurants and the hard work that goes into producing a warm and affordable meal.
