As a Floridian, this is my favorite "hurricane pantry supplies" recipe that need no refrigerated ingredients.
=Chips and "texas caviar" marinated bean salsa.
Open can of black beans, or black eyed peas. Drain packing liquid. To beans add: minced green onion, minced jalapeno, minced red bell pepper, generous amount of lime juice, minced cilantro, and, optionally, shake of cumin or splash of olive oil. Combine and let sit 15 minutes or refrigerate for later use. Can alter recipe to use corn, tomato, avocado, even lemon, white beans, greek or italian herbs, etc.
Buy plantain strips, cassava chips (my fave), terra chips, crackers, or basic tortilla chips or scoops. Dip and enjoy. Amazing cold and room temp both.

As a Floridian that loves cuban parties, you can be sure I know how to make bocaditos, which are delicious from the fridge on the second day (when hungover):
Package of hawaiian rolls, or potato or other soft rolls. Slice in half horizontally across whole sheet of rolls.
To bowl, combine softened cream cheese with one can of deviled ham, and chopped pimentos or chopped drained olives w/ pimentos. Add a little hot sauce or a squirt of mustard to brighten the acidity up. Spread ham spread over bread. Put lid of bread back on top. Using serrated knife cut into squares, refrigerate at least an hour, tightly wrapped in plastic.
