God tier: Chinese - perfect in every way

Good tier: certain Indonesian and Malaysian ones (smaller portions, fewer toppings/sauces)

OK tier: Thai, Korean

Absolutely pitifuru: Japanese, and any generic one that just has one flavour packet e.g. chicken powder

Japanese underperform so badly that it's mindblowing to think this food originated from there. Other countries, especially China, are putting in oils, vinegar, toppings of all sorts and descriptions, chilli powder, etc, and Japan just has the most basic bitch noodles. I guess it's their conservatism, not wanting to change how it has been done since the 70s or whenever. But they're shit.
