That isn't the case with Cajuns my friend, My grandpa is as cajun as they come, and he has been all over the world, and he tries to spread the food culture everywhere he goes, but the problem isn't cajuns not leaving it is the lack of true cajuns. New Orleans has good food to outsiders, but believe me as a local, the best cajun food is made in a rickety shack with a bunch of old guys shooting the shit, New Orleans can only give you a tiny taste of the food that we make. Also New Orleans is a hugely international city, especially with Germans for some reason, I see a lot of them especially during holidays.

you're right, real cajun food is only accessible to locals and their friends, my grandpa use to love to invite foreigners and people from up north to suppers and rape their taste buds with his own unique blend of shit. Also why the fuck are their chives in that red beans and rice? And shrimp in Jambalaya>>9298435 , also no one puts bell pepper in Jambalaya either, hopefully you couldn't find any better pictures of the food.

And personally the part of cajun food that makes it better than most is making it from fresh shit in one of the most unique looking places in the world. Pic related, it's my own little slice of heaven
